Search Functionality
AM Quartex offers many different means of searching published content. AM Quartex customers can choose which metadata fields are displayed on their websites. They can also select which metadata fields are included in search indexing alongside all, or select, web page copy.
The Advanced Search feature allows search of any free text fields displayed in Summary Metadata, as well as by all the filters featured on the Browse All page. These filters can be configured in the AM Quartex back-end through use of controlled vocabularies.
Quartex enables full-text search of all types of content, including print and manuscript documents as well as audio and video files, by means of the following three technologies. View it in action by filtering results from a keyword search using the "Full text" sidebar filter or by navigating to a record and using the in-document search box that appears above the Summary tab. Both audiovisual and print assets that have been transcribed will display a Transcript tab beside the Summary tab.
